Project 1 - KOUVOLA
The Korjala energy storage project is located in the city of Kouvola, in the Kymenlaakso region.
The project area covers approximately 2,500 m2 and is planned to house three (3) battery containers. The total capacity of the project is 5 megawatts (MW) with a storage capacity of 6 megawatt-hours (MWh).
In the future, there is potential to expand the project, enabling flexible and scalable energy storage.
The project has reached the RTB stage and is awaiting the final investment approval.
