The transformation of the energy system creates investment opportunities across the entire value chain: clean generation, grid flexibility and growing consumption. Usva Energia develops projects in all three areas and offers investment opportunities at different stages of development.

We do not offer a single fixed model, but a flexible structure tailored to the investor's objectives: project-specific financing, joint ownership, acquisition of a development-stage project or the purchase of a completed RTB project. All our projects are developed to be transaction-ready from day one, including for international counterparties.

PORTFOLIO 1

TOTAL POWER 196 MW

Our first project portfolio is under development and will reach RTB readiness in Q2/2025. The portfolio includes a total of 10 projects, some of which can be connected to the electricity grid as early as 2025.

Portfolio 2

TOTAL POWER 200 MW

Our second portfolio under development will reach RTB readiness in Q4/2025. It includes DSO and TSO projects located in key locations for the electricity grid across Finland.

Kouvola

TOTAL POWER 5 MW

The energy storage project in Kouvola, Kymenlaakso, is Usva Energia's first project to be built under its own management. The project has reached RTB readiness, and construction will begin in the summer of 2025.

A full-scope project developer

The same core expertise carries all our projects: grid connections, land acquisition, permitting and design.

Our business areas also complement each other: generation and storage behind the same grid connection improve the return profile, and a consumption project can make use of both.

We offer single projects as well as larger portfolios to investors.

Flexible investment models

An investor can join at an early stage of development, finance an individual project, form a joint venture with us or acquire a fully developed RTB project.

We sell, co-own and also build for our own portfolio. We choose the execution model project by project and are not dependent on a single exit route. Structures, timelines and roles are agreed case by case, according to the investor's objectives.

The energy sector is in constant change. We develop projects with future markets in mind and react quickly to new opportunities. We conduct continuous research on market developments and model the market environment of every project before making a development decision.
