The Korjala energy storage project is located in the city of Kouvola, in the Kymenlaakso region.

The project area covers approximately 2,500 m2 and is planned to house three (3) battery containers. The total capacity of the project is 5 megawatts (MW) with a storage capacity of 6 megawatt-hours (MWh).

In the future, there is potential to expand the project, enabling flexible and scalable energy storage.

The project is currently in the planning and permitting phase, building phase will start in April 2025.
